Nokie is one of the … Nokie is one of the greatest ever. Live from Japan album really showed what they could do with Wipeout and Caravan. Especially Caravan. Simply incredible quitarist in this group. And don’t forget Mel Taylor, one of the top drummer ever. I to am in my early 60′s and couldn’t wait to get there albums.
We just heard Nokie … We just heard Nokie Friday night at the Moore Theater for the 50th Anniversary party! Nokie, you can still make those guitar string sing! We loved every minute of the fun!!!! Thank you!

Wow, beautiful … Wow, beautiful music, so wonderful. I love “Driving Guitar” best, but what the title of the first one song is? I feel intoxicated with love feeling when I hear this. Nokie, thank you very much for giving us such great music. Don’s voice is so powerful that his “Runaway” sounds fabulously. And Bob,Leon, really appreciate. 40 years passed, I still respect and love you all.
I grew up listening … I grew up listening to the ventures Don Wilson is my my moms cousin and his mom Josie was my great Aunt she recorded their first album for them she was me and my sisters favorite aunt she passed away last year and is missed greatly! I remember when I was little and we would have family get togethers Don and his wife would always bring me and my sisiters a little gift each time they came back from Japan!

I’ve been playing … I’ve been playing guitar since late 64′ and I owe it all to this man and Howard, Mel, Bob, and Don. Nokie is like a very fine wine…just gets smoother with age. May he live forever.
