Should Christians ever consult Fortune Tellers about their business ventures or their future?

What does the Word of God tell us about doing something like this?

no-way!

"But the cowardly,
unbelieving,
abominable,
murderers,
sexually immoral,
*sorcerers,* <– (those who practice magic arts)
idolaters,
and all liars shall have their part
in the lake which burns with fire
and brimstone, which is the second death.
(Revelation 21:8)

God’s Word is sufficient enough for us..
both fortune-tellers and horoscopes are of the devil.
We do not need to mess with the evil spirits of the world.
God’s spirit is the only One who knows All Things.

No — Spiritual mediums are an abomination to God. Real Christians already know the answer to this, because it is very plain in Scripture — Blessings !

No we should seek the discernment of God in our hearts, not a evil spirit behind the fortune teller

Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together and burned them before all men.

There also are prohibitions against it in the Old Testament.

God wants to lead his children and a fortune teller will lead to failure for you and your business. Ask God to lead you and teach you, for nothing can take you from his hand or mess up his plans for your good life.
    take care.

no, because people will go from fortune teller to fortune teller, until they hear what they want to hear. There is only one God, and you should have no other Gods befor Him.

Why go to the dead for questions of the living?

Never get involved in thse things – demonic practices – and live the ‘door open’ for them to come invited…It is serious stuff; deadly stuff.

If you do not believe me, believe Him:

    De 18:10
There shall not be found with thee any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one that useth divination, one that practiseth augury, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer,
    De 18:11
or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
    De 18:12
For whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto Jehovah: and because of these abominations Jehovah thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
    De 18:13
Thou shalt be perfect with Jehovah thy God.

Not much doubt about it now, eh?

No…. Never…. Read for yourselves if the NWT bothers you EVERY other translation or version works.

The Scriptures note rather plainly that such practices are incompatible with true worship.
.. ..(Leviticus 19:31) Do not turn yourselves to the spirit mediums, and do not consult professional foretellers of events, so as to become unclean by them. I am Jehovah YOUR God.
.. ..(Deuteronomy 18:10-12) There should not be found…anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah.
.. ..(Revelation 21:8) But as for…those who are disgusting in their filth…and those practicing spiritism…their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. This means the second death.

I think fortune tellers are what the Bible refers to as "one who
seeks familiar spirits" or one that uses divination, or a wizard,
for all these are an abomination to the Lord. This is in
    Deuteronomy 18:10

Being a christian means having faith. If you feel that you are so unsure about your future that you have to go to a "psychic" who speaks to spirits that shows a lack of trust in God. If you feel uneasy about a business venture or event coming up pray about it it and God will assure you. As long as you believe that God holds your future in his hands then you can’t possibly believe that a mere spirit can interfere or figure out his true plan for you. So please trust in God.

Definetly NO! I do not know a scripture. But God says do not dwell in the past for im am not there and do not worry about the future because today has enough worries of its own. We should just trust in God. He knows what is good for us and He will protect us. any magic tricks of any sort is from the devil. no person can tell you your future.
