Palin is very popular in Alaska because she dramatically increased taxes on companies operating in Alaska & then issued checks to Alaska residents to help with high energy costs. Palins a maverick, but Obama is a socialist. Just another example of the erratic mentality of the McCain / Palin ticket.

Most of you have no idea what sociailism is. Im british and have lived under socialism for 11 years so ill tell you. Taking profits from state owned land rented by an oil company and giving it to the people is not socialism. taxing the rich and middle class (well basically taxing everything) and then giving it to people who dont work in welfare is socialism. so yes obama is a socialist. If you had to live with the mess of socialism you would know what it was too.

If you think that’s basically what Obamas plan is then you don’t know it well enough to be making these kinds of comments.

At no point in Obamas campaign did he say he would tax the middle class.

His WHOLE CAMPAIGN has been to HELP the middle class.

People making over $250,000+ are the only ones who will have their taxes returned to what they were in 2000 and those people were surviving just fine back then.

Unless you think people who make over $250 are middle class?
