Everytime i hear … Everytime i hear this im expecting a cover version of runaround sue… or perhaps seeing as runaround sue was released a little later than quater to three someone nicked a bit of the intro..

@212729h–Yeah, … @212729h–Yeah, I’ll never forget hearing this song and other US Bonds stuff when they first came out. I was about 10. Was when I first became aware of “Rock ‘n Roll”. Just a white kid from the Philly suburbs. This music, and other stuff, like the Crystals w/Darlene love, and The Shirelles, were almost too much for me to listen to sometimes. Too powerful! Don’t worry, the kids out there are finding out about this stuff–pre classic rock.
Done Man. Fantastic … Done Man. Fantastic. We have to get more of this kind of music out there. How I don’t know. About a year ago I was a DJ at a dance for 14-16 year old teens and it was going no where. Just for fun I put Dear Lady Twist by GUSB. The place went nuts.I had to get my laptop out and play all his songs . Some 3 times . So kids know good dance music when they hear it. The music will never die. We just have to get it out there. Thanks again for the info.
