In my opinion, the most shocking news in the Mitchell report was the fact that Barry Bonds and his trainer were told the exact date of his official "random" steroid test approx 3 months ahead of time. Is it known how this information was leaked to Bonds? Did the MLB front office tell him on purpose so he wouldn’t make baseball look bad with a positive test?
Thats a great point. Idt MLB would do that or they wouldnt have allowed the Mitchell report to ever begin. Thats a very interesting point. If thats true though then they have sum explainin to do. The game of baseball will never be the same cuz of the "Steroid Era" Its my fav sport and everyone who doesnt know much looks down on it now. Makes me sick

How did Barry Bonds learn his exact steroid testing date months ahead of time?
Friday, February 26th, 2010How do you find a dividend history on a particular stock?
Friday, February 26th, 2010I’m trying to find the dividend history for XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. but can’t find it on finance sites…any help?
If not can you explain what a dividend history is?
(Im just learning about stocks in school but is still confused on what some differences are)
You can find historical prices and dividend history of Yahoo Finance, www.finance.yahoo.com enter the ticker or use the lookup function in this case XMSR and click on historical prices. Scan down the prices and on days with dividends it will give the dividend. You can also go to the investor relations site of the company and it may be there or if your school has a Bloomberg terminal (some universities do) type in XMSR equity DVD for the dividend history.
This would be how to find the information but for XM I’ll just tell you that XM has never paid a dividend. Dividends are something that many companies pay out to their owners ussually out of retained earnings. XM has up to now never had a profit so they have no earnings to pay out, this is not uncommon for a young company esspecially a capital intensive one like XM. Also may profitable companies do not pay dividends if they think they can use that money more profitably than their cost of capital, this is no guarentee that they will.
Hope this helps.
I bought some shares in a company called Investment Ventures Plc back in 2001, Whatever happened to them?
Friday, February 26th, 2010I have about 1000 shares and my certificate number is number 6 which is a bit scary!!!
It was a UK listed stock on AIM and I did receive reports for a while so It wasn’t a pyramid scheme……..
www.SMYTHEONLINE.com and www.STOCKSEARCHINTL.com will research old stocks. It is difficult to track old shares. One day the company is listed on the exchange; the next day it is gone.
www.EPFL.com investigates old stock certificates that people find in drawers or after the owner dies.

How would a merger of General Motors and one of its competitors impact the automotive industry?
Friday, February 26th, 2010If GM and let’s say Chrysler mereged what would happen to the industry and our economy? What about merging with another competitor such as ford or toyota?
The combined company would be stronger in the market, but it would form a monopoly in the auto industry. At this point in time that is good for the industry and economy. Once the market stabilizes it could be devastating for their competitors.

MBO Navigator Folder & Palamides Bander
Friday, February 26th, 2010
Maine MBO Man “Folding 2 Up, “Split Guide Not Required” I am operating a brand new MBO T-800 Automatik Navigator and used MBO BA-700 Palamides Automatic Paper Bander. Folding inserts two up and processing the final folds in the right angle without a “split guide”! The job is arranged to have a 1-1/4 inch gutter trim. When this amount is slit, this gives me the gap I need to process for the final two folds. Further more I have a paper bander in-line. Have quite an operation going on here. Using two H2O/alcohol wet scoring units, pressing unit, and automatic paper bander. When they come out it’s like handling a brick. Nice high quality folding and very flat. 40# paper is a very light stock to deal with. It takes all the little tips and tricks to do a great makeready. The end result to can really pump out the work. The first unit is at about 9500 +/- per hour and at the delivery it is 18,500 +/- per hour. By having the first unit folding at a slower rate your first fold and slitting is really nice. Even on this 40# stock. Now your final two folds will look even better. Overall on a large run you will save time on cutting and folding!
