How do you tell if there is a spin between bonds in molecules?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

how can you tell about electron spins between bonds on the CH4 molecule? For example given the lewis structure of methane (CH4), what are the electron spins between the bonds? I’m a little confused here.

hey, when you have 2 electrons in the same orbital, you will always have one spinning up and one spinning down… its about balance, if both electrons were spinning the same direction, they could not stay in they’re orbits…

What is the difference between Leveraged Buyout (LBO) and Management Buyout (MBO)?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

make the answer clear and proper please tnx…

Leveraged Buyout:

Mr Apple decides he wants to go into the business of grapes. So he starts purchasing as much stock of the XYZ Grape Inc. When Mr Apple has control of enough stock with voting power he can force the XYZ Grape Inc to sell out their stocks to him, because he owns a controlling portion of stock.

XYZ Grape Inc discovered that Mr Apple had also Leveraged a Buyout of L&M Grape Corp. For years XYZ Grape Inc had been selling stock to company employees. They realize that if they owned the stock held by employees they could prevent Mr Apple from Leveraging a Buyout of their company. Therefore they forced, by prearranged conditions, a buyout of all employee owned stock, a Management Buyout. Which allowed XYZ Inc to once again own controlling interest in their company.

Should Christians ever consult Fortune Tellers about their business ventures or their future?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

What does the Word of God tell us about doing something like this?

no-way!

"But the cowardly,
unbelieving,
abominable,
murderers,
sexually immoral,
*sorcerers,* <– (those who practice magic arts)
idolaters,
and all liars shall have their part
in the lake which burns with fire
and brimstone, which is the second death.
(Revelation 21:8)

God’s Word is sufficient enough for us..
both fortune-tellers and horoscopes are of the devil.
We do not need to mess with the evil spirits of the world.
God’s spirit is the only One who knows All Things.

Is trading futures or speculative shares just gambling?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

I am interested in trading commodities futures but only if I am sure that success is based on skill, intelligence and/or preperation. If I fail because I lack any of these I won’t mind too much. But is success based mostly on luck?

What about day trading, is this gambling? Do you need luck to succeed or just preperation?

Knowledge, intelligence, and vigilance will maximize your chances for success; however, since a lot of players in the market out there are either fickle or tend to have knee-jerk reactions to events that may affect the markets, there will always be a degree of risk. Success can never be assured because of the factors beyond your control, but, again, you can do well if you keep on top of things (monitoring activiy, factors, etc.) continuously.

As to day trading, you have a little more control over your chances for success. The same rules apply–you need to be vigilant.

My recommendation would be to start modestly and see how you do, then make a judgement as to whether you should abandon that venture or increase your activity.

Good luck!

why do people sometimes start buying a stock after a merger is announced?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

A merger was announced today and then the stock of the company that is getting bought out keeps going up and people keep buying it.

Do they see some kind of benefit to it being in a merger and what could that benefit be.

Also, i read in the merger article that the shares might each be bought for 9 dollars each, But they have gone up from 9 in the morning to 12 dollars.

Speculation is the short answer.

Most of the time a "highly probable" merger at a "fair price" moves toward the "fair price" in giant step at the announcement and then slowly crawls toward the exact offer price as the merger date gets closer and closer. (See the BNI merger with BRK.A, as an example)

OTOH, in the case of a "less probable" merger and/or a "less or more than fair price" the price will bounce around as market players try to out guess each other on what the ultimate deal will be.

That is a long way of saying that all announcement are not created equally. Some are done deals before they are announced and some never happen.

Do Trading Forex Algorithms Actually Work?

Friday, February 26th, 2010

I’m not sure what you actually call these automated trading system, but i’m guessing they use some kind of algorithm software to sought through markets etc.

My question is really this. I’ve been trading Forex for 5 months now – mainly jpy/gbp market – and it’s about time that I got my hands on some automated software – but which one.

I like the look of the PipBoxer – but a bit too pricey, but maybe doable. Otherwise Forex EA looks pretty sweet at $200. The alternatives I’ve seen are like those spammy sites like the forex killer, which supposedly get you pips while you sleep. Not convinced.

Anyway, has anyone used any of these or recommend a decent package which has genuinely helped there overall forex trading profit,

Thanks all.

Most of what is mentioned is basically spot on. If your new to Forex, only 5 months in like you said then automated trading may only work for you if your already having success. If your using it as a means of income then this is not the idea.

You mentioned the PipBoxer. The Pipbover is by far the most comprehensive software out there as it’s more than just a software package as it comes with real people at hand 24/7. It’s worth the cash and if you’ve done your research you’ll have discovered this.

You can read a review of this here:

http://pipboxer-review.blogspot.com/

If you don’t want to shell out a load, those spammy sites you mentioned are slightly dubvious but the best out there maybe in your price range is probably the forex tracer,

You can view this here:

Good luck. Don’t scrimp if your serious about this trade.

How do i start with forex Market business?

Friday, February 26th, 2010

I would like to do some money with share, stock, mutual funds and forex market. SO anyone can please help out and guide me how this can be done

Do you mean to start a business or do you want to trade for yourself?
If you want to start a Forex business, the chepeast way would be to become an IB (introducing broker) for a forex Broker. Or, in another case, obtain a White Label from them, which is another form of having your own company using all of their support and back office. The big brokers often have securities and CFDs as part of their investment choices.
