What is the Best Automated Forex Trading System Out There?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Hi everyone!

I am relatively new to forex and have only just found out about all these automated forex robots and such that are supposed to really take a lot of the risk out of forex trading. There are so many though! Can anyone suggest like a good one, based on personal experience?

Thank you!

Do I need a license to trade forex for others using my software hosted outside Singapore? ?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

I am planning to run an automated forex trading platform hosted on a server outside Singapore. Client’s trading platform will be hosted on the server and trades will be executed on their behalf. Do I need a license and how do I obtain the license?

If you are trading for others, you may need a license based on your countries rules about being an advisor sort of speak. You may want to contact some of your local officals You should be okay if the funds remain in your account.

How do treasury bonds work and are they a good investment?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

If I bought a 30yr $50 treasury bond today, what does that mean? What would be the return on my investment? My tax program is offering an option to purchase bonds out of tax refunds and I don’t know anything about them. I’m wondering if it is worth putting a couple hundred dollars into some treasury bonds.

They can be a good investment for safety and a hedge against the economy. Treasuries returned more than 20 percent in 2008. Its a good thing to have some in your portfolio.

Do I have a case to claim a share of my husbands wealth? We are separated but he comes home most weekends.?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

While happily married he managed a big farm, then we moved away and started our own company. Then our company was re-employed by the farm and he would work away each week and come home on weekends. Soon after our marriage broke down and we separated and did an asset split. We did not get divorced and he still comes home most weekends. Then the farm offered him a management buyout on very good terms. That was 2 years ago. I didn’t get anything and a lot people feel I should have as I was involved in the process for the majority of the time. Given we are still married (and even if we weren’t) do I have a case to claim some of this windfall?

No your not entitled to this due to the asset split – you needed to address this two years ago not now two years after your separation.

Though if he was a gracious man he should offer you a small sum for your support during the time that you where together would be the right thing to do – But if your thinking half of the proceeds your way out of line.

Funny how some women come sniffing around when money appears….

What’s the difference between Ex-Div Date and Ex-Dividend Date in the Yahoo stock info page?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

The Ex-Dividend Date appears to be the ex-dividend date and the Ex-Div Date appears to be one day before the payable date. Why not just list the payable date?

Ex Div Date is the date the stock pays the previous dividend

Ex Dividend Date is the date the stock records the shareholder for next dividend payment.
